Getting there

Fly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Stone Town.
Airport transfers to Stone Town run roughly $10-15; onward transfers to Nungwi (north) take about 1.5 hours and to southeast beaches like Jambiani around 1 hour, both commonly arranged through the resort or a private taxi.

Fly to Velana International Airport (MLE), Malé, hub with connections from Dubai, Singapore, Colombo, Doha, and direct flights from Europe.
From Malé: speedboat (30–90 min for most mid-range resorts) or seaplane (15–45 min for remote islands, daylight only, so late arrivals mean a Malé overnight).
Liveaboards depart from Malé harbour.
