Why Dive Curated exists

Dive Curated is an independent project comparing dive operators by what actually matters before you book. The real all-in price, what's included, how safety and fees are disclosed, and what divers actually say once they're back on the boat. Most operator sites make that information hard to find on purpose, with a headline price up top and mandatory fees buried in a footer or a separate terms page. We built this to put it all in one place, up front.

We don't recommend operators, and we don't hand out a single "best". We list what's there and lay it out so you can judge fit yourself: budget, experience level, and what you actually want to see. Every booking goes straight to the operator at no cost to us. Where a listing shows a code (e.g. "DC-XXXX"), that operator has agreed to give divers who mention it a perk of their own choosing, such as free nitrox or a photo package, so we can see whether a booking actually came from here. There is still no commission today; if that changes for an operator, we'll disclose it clearly on their listing at the point of booking. Either way, a code or a future referral agreement never changes which operators are listed, their order, or their transparency score. We don't rank operators by what they pay us, and we score transparency the same way for everyone.

Dive Curated is run by Leonard Blume, a management student and diver, as an independent project. It currently covers a growing set of destinations and operators, built from operator sites, public review platforms, and direct verification where possible. Every fact on the site is dated so you can see how fresh it is. It's a young project and still growing. Some data is more complete than others, and we say so rather than pretend otherwise.
